You can cancel your reservation no later than 8 hours before the training starts.
No, we do not offer free sessions.
In short: the one you want.
All of our training sessions and classes can be attended by beginners. You can learn the basics on each of these classes.
At the same time, we have marked a few classes for which we especially welcome beginners: during these classes there is more emphasis on practicing the basics.
As a beginner, you must first learn the basics of boxing (basic stance, movements, basic punches). These can usually be mastered in 3-5 training sessions, depending on your abilities. In the meantime, we gradually involve you in group tasks and increase the load.
The sessions start with a warm-up (gymnastics, lead-in exercises), followed by the main part, which is greatly influenced by the type of lesson and the athletes present. At the end of the training sessions, joint relaxation and strengthening are typical (except in Advanced boxing).
Of course!
We are also proud that in 2022, 42% of the athletes in our Hobbybox classes were women!
The minimum age for group trainings is 14. For anyone younger, a consultation is needed with the coach.
In most cases, it is not an exclusionary reason.
If you cannot perform certain exercises due to some musculoskeletal problem, please let our trainers know and they will give you a substitute task.
As much as possible, we also try to control the "work-load" individually for the athletes, so we can take tolerance limits into account as well.
Important: With more serious, cumulative health problems, our coaches may require a specialist opinion for participation!
Fighting is not mandatory in any of our training sessions, but of course it is possible.
Beginners may only enter the ring with proper training, and for controlled, playful sparring.
